The T-20 Transmission first built by Borg-Warner, and ATV-O-MATIC, now built by Skid Steer Corp. has been used in thousands of Amphibious All Terrain Vehicles including Max II, Max IV, Attex, Hustler , Starcraft, Swamp Fox, Camel and many other manufactures. It as a popular choice of custom machine builders, since it gives forward, reverse, brakes, steering all within one unit.

Left hand case.

Slide drum assembly over input shaft. and shift collar.




Note: bearing surface on ring drum must seat in case bronze bushing.

Make sure lower band does not get caught under drum.

Install anchor pin through lower band loop and locate in bore in case.

Note: Red pointer location

Install spacer on anchor pin.

Install forward band loop over anchor pin.

Install bands and drums in R case too.

We apply a thin film of RTV silcone.

Install gasket and coat with RTV too. Install gasket on R case also.
