Any one out there actually own and drive a MUDDOX?

Sam I know a guy who said he had one, but in truth he does not, he is posting on other boards as a expert, so I understand why you are looking for a actual owner..
The machine cost a lot of money and looks pretty complex to me. Steve |

You are right Steve. The one thing that I dont like is that the machine weights 1600 pounds. |

Sam I posted this elsewhere too:
I know a guy who has a mudox, he is real unhappy with it, he said chain adjusters are junk and he had a bad clutch and you have to remove engine to get clutch off because it hits something when trying to remove it, he has had so many problems with it that he is trying to get the dealer to buy it back. Or is going to look at Indiana' lemon law with his attorney.

According to some other post, everything with the Muddox might not be so rosey, I have sent messages to Matt himself, he never really answers my questions. But I am still checking into it Sam Keys |

I own a muddox black with tracks, windshield, top, bearing extensions, upgraded winch etc.I have posted many utube videos of us playing with it here in Alaska. (search alaska mudd-ox) Feel free to call me directly at 907 230-4293. The chain tensioner system has been redone, the old system worked great but was not user friendly if large sticks etc got into the tub bilge as they would get into the tensioners and move them thru the sprockets. Matt recognized this and changed the system. I have taken my secondary clutch off to do some spring tuning and it was easy, the primary clutch requires rotating the engine if you need to completely remove it. Matt doesn't always get to his email as they are producing machines as fast as they can and working on improvements and accessories. BTW I /we love the machine and the hydrostatic is great for power , control and traction and is very easy to drive in bad conditions. This past week end we met up with a new avenger also equiped with tracks and he would not play with us after he saw the Mudd-Ox perform and handle the way it did. |
