I have the RTS 340 also. I drove it for a while until I melted the engine. It's just collecting dust low on the project priority list until I build up my kawasaki 440 engine for it. I doubt many of these things survived.

there are so many schools of thought on this, some use the 40 wht motor oil and gasoline mix as advertized by oridganal vehicle manufacturers.
others like the expencive high tech fule aditives made for quads and snowmobiles these days,
myself i use outbord motor 2stroke oil, 50/1 in winter pint to 6 galons)
or 45/1 aprox 5 1/4 gals to the same pint in summer for more lube,
you cannot run on pump gas without the oil aditive, it lubes the bearings in engine while in crank case and also while lubeing the crank case it evaporateds to become the intake charge,
wall mart has it by the gallon inexpencivly with tc-3 aditive i think it is called, anyway ashless is best oil too use, ashless synthetics =$$$

If any one has one or plans on selling one, please get in touch with me. I own a 3 wheeler called a Trihawk. I love 3 wheelers and would restore to stock, insure and drive it.
