The Polaris Trail Boss trans has a drain plug under the vehicle, it is a bolt about 9/16". You may have to remove a skid plate to find it. The fill plug is on the right side of the ATV, near where your foot rests on the floor board. Remove the plastic chain gaurd that covers that side of the engine area. There is a fill plug for the trans right behind that cover. You'll fill it with a Polaris trans fluid from your dealer, it is different from engine oil. I've used ATF trans fluid with no trouble, but that's not recommended by Polaris. Your local dealer will have the fluid and will be able to tell you more about changing it if you need help. You might also want to order an owner's manual where you can find all the maintenance information for your ATV.
