I picked up a Attex Super chief in a trade I did for a Ridge Runner. Now I am looking for a COOT. Since I have not yet had to purchase a machine (just trade) what are the going prices for fair condition machines. I assume a six wheeler in fair condition and about 10-15 years old would be in the $800-1500 range. What do you think? How bout a coot in fair condition. Same price range??

Just looking for a bench mark.

does anyone have a coot for sale??

thanks for the great site. If this snow ever melts maybe I can ride my superchief (we now have 203 inches for the year (17 feet)) In Upper Michigan

a coot in good condition can range from $50-$1500 depending on condition.the problem with the coot is that they are all metal and have very little drainage in the twin hulls (bad design)so owners that stored there coots outside had rust problems in the floor area.i own two coots and would put them up against any 6x6.with an all steel hull and 12in of ground clearance they crawl over just about anything and swim pretty good too. michael

Thanks Michael, I am looking hard for a 4 wheel steer coot. I have found a few. Most are at the $2000 price which seems just a little high. I would pay that for a really nice one though. One guy wants $3500!! And these are not restored machines!!! If you know of any for sale at real prices please keep me in mind.

Thanks for your info.
