I am debating getting an argo avenger 700 around the summer. I downloaded the operators manual to get a look at maint. requirements & get a feel. I'm thinking a good used one, if I can find one, maybe a 2007 or 2008. Anyone got any advice?

This will be my first, but it can serve a good secondary purpose thinking of that aspect. I have a 10 year old that is going to need to learn the lesson that good mechanical things REQUIRE upkeep. We can do it together, and he'll enjoy it. Takes everything apart that he gets his hands on anyway, might as well give it direction instead of squishing it.

I have been bantering about, listening to a few different folks. I know a guy who has a 8x8 Frontier 650, and he loves it. The tires really move it in the water. A bit more reasonable on the price, and realistically, unless you are going up above 5-6 kft in elevation then why go EFI?
Not to mention some different discussions that I read on this board have alot of good things to say about the 650 8x8. Anyone got any input?
