Anyone out there run a Max Buffalo Truck? Can they be modifeid? How do they do in comparison to a Max4 and Argo 8x8 and 6x6 for work and play? Can they be modified or take a bigger motor?

Jack, The Buffalo is about three hundred pounds heavier (about 40 percent) than a max IV so, if flotation is important, it will not perform as well. Should be about the same as an Argo of any type. I am assuming the Buffalo or Max IV equipped with 26" tires.

Don't know what you mean by modified, but yes, most anything can be modified. Getting a bigger engine in might be tricky as the extra supports for the box might get in the way. My guess is that if it were easy, RI would offer a bigger engine.
