2002 Humphrey VFD AATV Raffle now under way

This year's prize is:

TICKETS ARE $5.00 EACH
Drawing to be held at the 5th Annual Amphibious ATV Jamboree July 20 and 21 2002 in Humphrey NY
To obtain tickets:
Mail a check or money order payable to the Humphrey Vol Fire Company to John Schwab at the address below. Please purchase at least two to help defray the cost of postage
I will:
A) Mail you the tickets for you to fill out and return.
OR
B) fill out the tickets and submit them for you.
Please specify your choice in your correspondence
The Jamboree and raffle are a prime source of funding for the volunteers of the Humphrey Fire Company. If we all "buy a few and sell a bunch"
it will go a long way toward ensuring that these events continue.
All questions regarding the raffle should be directed to me (John Schwab) or Firechief John Lockwood.

John;
I'm sure I can't attend the event at Humphrey, I'm sorry to say. They sure appear well organized.
I would like to buy tickets, even thought I can't attend. Do we have to be present to partisapate in the raffel? Even if one doesn't win
or attend, It's a good feeling to support a worthy cause and help the VFD. Even though its hundreds of miles away. We resently lost our VFD due to lack of support from the community. I'm afraid our homeowners and property insurance will go up far more than the VFD would have ever cost. Mutiplied by the number of home and peoperty owners in this area, thats alot. Please post re: so everyone will know. (or I'll call the # you listed in the previous post.

The lucky person who wins our 2002 MAX 11 does not have to be present. Tickets can be purchased through the mail. Keep in mind that this raffle helps support the Humphrey Volunteer Fire Dept and they in turn provide many of us with a great place to ride.

It is only about six weeks until our Humphrey AATV Jamboree! Ticket sales have been slow this year (blame 9/11 everything else seems to get blamed on it!) But the bottom line is that the odds will never be more in your favor to win a new AATV for $5. |
