The Central PA ATV Association's rodeo at Flat Run Speedway in Allport, PA is next weekend. I know of a few that are going to attend and compete- anyone here going this year? See the announcement on Rt6x6 events page.

DON Thanks for the message, I will be there, will not be able to bring my Buffalo but want to see the rodeo, the Buffalo would not be too good at anything except maybe the ATV pull.

That's great, Robert. It's a shame you can't bring the Buffalo- I'm sure it would attract a lot of attention. The only complaint I've heard the last couple years is that there's no place to ride while waiting for the quads to run their events, but this year they've added leisure riding areas. It should be fun.

Great, Jack. We're hoping for good representation from the Amphibs, and so far it looks pretty good. Do you plan on competing? If so, what are you driving?

Hey Byan; I don't know what to expect this year. Some of the regulars are not going to attend, but I've heard from quite a few people that will be there for the first time. Most of the participants are quad riders, but we've been attracting more amphibs every year.

6x6 Friends:

We have posted some photo of this weekends 2007 CPATVA rodeo. Photos were sent in by George Morrish If any else has photos, we will be happy to post them too. Thanks George

Here is George's Story

Here are some photos from this year CPATVA event. There were a half dozen machines in the “Amphib Class” with representatives from Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York. It was great to see a pristine example of a Cushman Trackster show up and do so well in the in the mud bog event. Another highlight of the day was seeing (and hearing) an original Springer come to live after a 13 year hiatus.
We really need to double the attendance at next year’s event. Any you folks out there care to commit for next year?

More Photos!

Thanks Don Kinyon for the additional photos of the event, thanks for your continued support of ROUTE6x6

Here is his story:

You've probably noticed the T-shirt my oldest son Bud was wearing. He tied for first overall in the amphibious class events, and didn't let me forget it all the way home. The attendance at the rodeo was less than I'd hoped, but we had a great time anyway, and there was plenty of mud to go around. Thanks for letting us promote the event on your site, and we'll try and get lots more riders next year! Take Care MORE PHOTOS Thanks to Don Kinyon

There were four of us competing all together: Two Attexes, one Max II, and the Trackster. My youngest boy was going to run a couple events also, but we had some heat problems with the two-stoke (I know, I know). There's always next year. Greg with the Max and my oldest boy Bud tied for first overall. It was a lot of fun, but next year it would be nice to have double or triple the participation.
