Is any one going to the Philipsburg atv compition on the 24th? They are going to have a Mud Bog, Obstacle course, Sled Pull, Clover Leaf Barrel Race, Pole Bending, Flag Race, and Key Hole Race. I'll be there with my black Max 2.They are featuring amphibious atv's but its open to all atv's. Its also only 2 bucks per event and its all in front of the grand stands!
For more info go to CPATVA.ORG . It was all Max and Attex machines last year but hopfully some Argo's will show this year.

I'll be there Tory!

We have at least 4 Attex-es that will be there this year, and quite possibly a few more, depending on who can make it. I saw the video from last year, which Tory filmed and made a copy of for me. (Thanks again, Tory) There were a lot of quads, six wheelers, and fans. Looked like a lot of fun, and I was bummed that I missed it. My posse won't miss out this year. It was great to see the amphibs blow the quads out of the water (er...uh...MUD) in the mud bog event. We'll see if we can't give them a run for their money in all of the events!

Hi Tory, Is there camping available friday and saturday nights? Perhaps I will bring my Max down and add to my trophy collection, lets see I have one trophy now, I could double my collection if everybody else breaks down!!

Hey John

Yes and yes! They are offering primitive camping meaning no water no power Friday and Saturday night. It will be awsome to see some of the 6x6 crowd again. We need to get some rides organized.
See You There Tory

I guess I worded that wrong. Will any of the 6x6ers be camping Friday and/or Saturday nights? I am not sure yet whether I can come down for the weekend or just the day, If no one else is camping I will just come down for the day. To anyone who also has a Quad, there is a dice run in nearby Madera on sunday. I would like to catch both events.

John,
I will be camping out on Friday PM, but haven't heard of many others. I would just rather take a leisurely drive from Niagara County on Friday PM than early Sat. AM.
Maybe this event will give you some more ideas for next year's Copper Ridge event (which was just great this year. Nice water pit!)

See you there!

Who is coming to the rodeo in Phillipsburg this weekend? It would be nice to see a good turnout this year.

We'll be there sometime early Saturday. I'm really looking forward to seeing a good bunch of amphibs turn out this year. Dave, have you gotten any word back from the Hoot people?

Hey Dave, I will be traveling on Friday and if a few others are camping I will bunk in my trailer with my machines. I will either bring my Bigfoot or Hustler as a second machine. The 440 Scrambler is back together but I havent driven it with reworked gear ratio. The reworks are mathamatical so what it will do is only a guess.
You are welcome to drive it. I don't have much stick time on anything that fast.

We are going to ride at one of the nearby State Forest riding areas on sunday, camping at the ride area saturday night. The place is called "Bloody Skillet" no doubt named after someones marital problems. We have a camping permit for ten people. See you at the rodeo and all are welcome at the ride after of course.
Perhaps someone with a better memory could refresh us on the directions from Route 80.

Anybody meeting up with John remember to bring your insurance card and registration to ride in the state park.
