I have a 1970 something maxII and having trouble with the firing. It will run for awhile then after shutting off it won't start back up. I pulled plug out and grounded it,it was not sparking at all. I put in new plug and still the same thing (no fire). The points are good and gapped right and I just replaced the condenser. Can anyone help me with this?

take the spark plug and make sure it gap correcly
put it back in
and also make sure your points is not close
keep it open
also it may be your coil is shot
