hello everyone
Back to messing with the Wedge and I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of where I can get some brake pads.

Thanks
T

Also, does anyone know if I can use a generic motorcycle/atv/sled cable as a replacement for a transmission brake cable?

Thanks
T

T I have a junk SPD Wedge, my trans was broke. the gears were striped out, took the machine to the farm and there it sits. I will check next week to see if the cable is still there. Machine was very rough three years ago, so I bet it has not improved.

Hi Jeff, that would be awesome. I am absolutely not going to give up on this machine and I have a looooooooooooong way to go. I dont think my tranny is broken but unfortunately, I wont know until I can get this rusted heap rollable. This is the worst undertaking I've ever been idiot enough to accept.

Any salvageable parts you can get off I'd be interested in.
Thanks

T went to see the Wedge today. It has a tree growing in it! Shifter cable is there, sort of, it is rusted junk, trans still in it, rusted tight, but I do remember the trans was bad, all the gears were ground off Where do you live? It may be best if you just come and get this beauty

OH NO!!! lol.
Man, I don't think I can take another one of these eye sores in my garage. Im near Dallas, TX. Im sure I've got the only Wedge in my part of the country. Well, I'll have to keep going. Im going to start a Wedge Conservation Society. I'll need all the donations I can get to get this heap back together.
Thanks anyway and let me know when you get started on your restoration!
