I have a chance to buy a Kohler command v twin for my restoration project. The motor needs rings and a valve job - not a big deal (lol), but my main question is. What do I have to do to the governor and the throttle to make it work in the my Amphicat. The throtle is not much of a problem, but the governor seems to be a bid deal according to what I have read on the B & S Vanguard conversion.

I just need direction to accomplish this. Thanx

Just so everyone knows - iGOT MY ANSWERS FROM rICHARDS CAPABLE ASSISTANT

1. The air cleaner is not an issue as long as it clears the body work
2. The fuel pump is OK
3. The governor is OK - needs a swivel for the throttle
4. The Charge system is OK - should be 15 amps - check on the shroud near the oil filter - could be a 20. Any kohler with electric start should be OK
5. Should get the recoil starter
