Well, after a fun weekend of running through some mud, and getting stuck some, I finally broke a front axle. I'm not sure why it actually broke as I didn't hit anything hard, and I didn't jump anything. I have had the drive pins for the sprocket removed from this axle for months, and it never would come loose. I had no problem getting the other sprockets loose. Anyone had the same experience?

wheres the brake?
if it is between the bearings it might be loose chain geting cault up wrong on the sproket, this suden shortening of the chain can brake axels and do other types of distruction as well!

I figured out that it was from the axles being original, and it was definately used by the time I got it. I'm sure it had been jumped a couple of times. I was able to make my own axles out of some 1" axle I found. Now I have it back together with new bearings, and two new front axles. It's amazing how much better it goes with new bearings!
