I'm trying to remove the floor pan out of my attex tomahawk. To do so i have to remove the control sticks. Ive soaked them with PB buster, and tried to pull them with pump handle pliers. That didnt work so i took off the grips and drilled a hole all the way thru the pipe and inserted a 3/8 " piece of rebar. Then i was able to hit up on the sticks with good force. The things havent budged a bit. Im afraid to heat them as they are real close to the floor pan. any ideas?

a welding flame on a gas welding torch is very small and controlable, i heated mine with one and also banged on them with a hammer a little to also loosen the rust, followed by soaking with penatrateing fluid and more banging, and some more heat (keep a hose standing by)after you get these working correctly dont forget to keep em greased!
also i driled a 1/8" hole in frount and back of the upright base of each laterel so any water that gets in threw the top of the laterels leaks out, so it will stay dry and not rust out or split from freezeing!
