i order 8 gator tires and would like to know if anyone has them on thare aatv yet and if so what way they work best? thanks

Gators are great mud tires but not much in the water. I don't think you will have much speed in water either direction, so you should probably put them on 'forward' for mud traction. Amphibs really benefit from tires with good water speed even for mud. I have found that my Max does better in most muddy conditions with tires that provide some water speed. Let us know how the Gators work on your 8x8.
