First, check with Richard Clark ( the owner of this board) and then check past messages using "pug" as the search criteria. What parts do you need? What engine is on it<

big al, You may be in trouble on parts. I GOT A FLYER FROM AN AUCTION COMPANY, A MONTH AGO, THE COMPANY THAT MANUFACTURED THE PUG WAS BEING SOLD BY THE LENDER. IT HAD ALL MACHINES, INVENTORY, AND BUILDINGS. I THINK IT WAS IN MISSISSIPPI. THAT IS ALL I KNOW. I TOSSED THE FLYER.

Big Al,
For Vintage Pug Parts and info contact:
Bob Keith (715) 868-4945. He has some old inventory of parts and is knowledgable on older pugs. I beleive he is in Bruce Wisconsin. Pug used to be made by Bruce Manufacturing. Then it changed hands to Jacobsen, and then on to others. Last year they were moving to another state (another owner - again). So www.pugpower.com is their website for the newer equipment. Landpride also makes a similar unit called a Gonzo www.landpride.com It looks like the same frame, axles etc as the old pugs.
I am located in Alaska. I have one Pug probably made around 1968-70 and I also have a Jacobsen UV-4 probably made around the mid 70's. The jacobsen has hydralics (dump bed, plow and hydralic steering. Both look to be made of similar plans and parts.

Hope this information helps you out.

Hi -- along the same lines, might someone know where to locate a shop manual for an early PUG? I recently bought a very used PUG (but it runs) -- the remainder of the "dash" plate says Bruce Manufacturing; it has the one-cylinder Briggs and Stratton, centrifugal clutch, and hydraulic dump bed. Oh, Chris, I hope you don't have the white PUG (complete with white fibreglass trailer) that was stolen from my camp on the north side of the Chatanika, north of Fairbanks, in the early 1980's!

Chuck
