I'm in the process of restoring a Terra Tiger basket case I purchased a few weeks ago. Upon inspecting the parts after I tore it down, I found that I need 2 axles for this machine. The previous owner has cut 2 of the axles and welded on some 4 bolt wheel adapters. I would just change to 5 bolt wheel adapters but they appear to be a real mess with a piece of pipe welded on as an extension, so I'm looking for new axles.

Any leads out there?

I'm also looking for a new T handle as well if you know of one of these.

Thanks,
Mike

As long as your in there & getting dirty, you might as well change out your bearings. The old ones may last a long time, but if they fail you will have to change out not only the bearings, but the broken axels coused from the heat damage.

I plan on changing out the bearings too. Do you happen to know a part number for the bearings that could be purchased at NAPA or Bearings Inc?
If not, I will just take the old ones in and let them match them up.

I'm lucky to have a company called bearing belt & chain here in Tucson Az.
They know nothing on the subject of 6x6's(except what I've forced them to learn) but of course are experts on the products they sell.

Bearing,belt & chain

They would have to have numbers to match anything up,asking for parts for a machine model would just get you weird looks.

Of course taking the actual bearing to a local shop would be better, since a picture is worth a thousand words.(yellow pages)

Or this web site is an even better place to find bearings for a certain model 6x6 :)

Still Looking for Terra Tiger Axles!

I need 2 axles but would buy one if that is all you have. Please e-mail me if you have any laying around you would be willing to sell.

Thanks,
Mike Downs
