I understand that the 14 hp and 16 hp Vanguard are essentially identical and that the 14 can be easily boosted to 16. What modification or adjustment is necessary? Thanks |

The only difference is the carburetor. If you want even more performance for less money, get a 32mm Mikuni snowmobile carb. Check out mine on my profile. |

I thought that the modification was a simple adjustment-possibly to the governor but I'm not sure. Where can I find the Mikuni, how difficult is it to install (any other mods required to use it) and what kind of power can I expect with just the carb switch? Thanks for all your help.
