Posted on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 - 10:32 pm:        Hi Guys, Remember any extra power you use will come off your total HP. 1 HP=746 watts and an alternator is not 100% efficient so to get 500 Watts out you need about 1 HP in!!! That comes from your engine.
