Hey guys and gals, I've got the 14hp engine in the max II, only problem I've noticed so far is not much torque in the mud or going up big hills, is there an easy solution? I'm not real concerned about top speed so if I lose some of that it won't really matter. I live in Sioux Falls, SD and there aren't many small engine shops around who will do modifications, but one shop said to put on dual exhaust, is this a accurate statement?
They also said I could adjust the governor a little bit, is this safe? if so, how do I do it?
Any other ideas?

Thanks
Bill

Bill, I got the 14 h.p. briggs in my max II also.I read somewhere on this discussion that you could buy the 16 h.p. carb. and bolt it on for the additional 2 h.p. Maybe someone else on this discussion could verify if thats the only modification necessary to achieve the 16 h.p.

Happy Bouncing.
