I am swapping in a koehler in place of a briggs in an '85 hustler and need help wiring the koehler into the wiring harness. Also I can not move the koehler engine back far enough to space the clutches the same as they were with the briggs and need to find someone who can give me information on what belt fits the koehler engines along with the distance it should be.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Richard

Richard, you can call Comet/Hoffoco Industries and they can give you the belt number needed. Have this information when you call: Distance from center to center shaft of both clutches, part number or diameter of both clutches and engine.
Talk to Don Jackson he helped me out a lot on my installation. Comet number 1-800-999-8161

Richard, thanks for the information it sounds like what I needed to know. I talked to Richard Clark earlier and he gave me another way to go.
I think I'll try both just to double check myself I want to get the tension on the belt right. I'am not use to having to adjust tension on this type of belt.
