i live in mass and i got around 6 inches of snow!!i just got my maxx 2 and wanted to drive it in the snow to see what it does but my starter isnt in yet:-(this su c ks.

Most engines have a place to wrap a rope around the flywheel to pull start it. All newer Max IIs have pull starters. Why can't you get yours running? If that was the only problem, I would sure find a way. 6" of snow is awesome fun to ride in. I can't wait till Missouri gets its first snow this winter.

Matt,

Id say that was a good argument for a recoil starter :). That does seem strange to me that a new max would come without a pull starter?

i have a rope to pull it but i need to put new chains in front and fix the tensioner.sorry i should clearify it its not brand new its used iam saying that because its new to me.i had an attex before this is an 89

well i got the starter in today now just gotta do the chains in the front before this weekend so i can acctually ride it than the weekend after next i will do the back chains,mount my winch,and fix my huge hole in the bottom!!the person who owned it before broke the right front chain and it tore a hole in the body.o well i can fix it
