Hi all. Long time since my last post. I have decided not to sell my 2000 Argo Bigfoot, but instead replace the stock 18hp Vanguard with an EFI engine if possible. Does anyone have experience with such a conversion? I'd like to stick with air cooled for ease of conversion, but H2o cooled is ok if needed. Thanks

I think the efi engines are too new to market, remember when Kohler did them a few years ago. Everyone had BIG problems. I would let Briggs sort out issues for a couple of years before I bought one. Jeff McBrayer

Diesel would be cool too. Just not happy with carbureted engines. Very fussy when cold.

Diesels are very heavy for one with much power, but sure are neat.
