I have a 2004 Argo Vanguard that was running great, then just before winter it idled rough until it warmed up. A couple of day ago it was running too rough to idle, but would operate better at higher rpms. I noticed when it was running rough, the fuel filter seemed 20% full of gas. For some reason, it just started running pretty good again, and the fuel filter is full of gas. I don't think there is a electric fuel pump, and my guess is the Mikuni device connected to the fuel line must operate on vacuum from the engine to pump the fuel?? Is this correct? Any suggestions where to start?
