I am the new owner of a 1992 MAX II 18HP. It looks like a lot of fun. After driving it for 45 minutes I am less the happy. Are the throttles always hard to operate? The throttle sticks and is hard to utilize.
The concept is great and think if the throttle operated smoother I would really enjoy the machine.
Any suggestions????

I don't know if it's the same set up as an ARGO, but the throttle cable actually push/pulls on the governor lever, connected to the carb lever, etc, they are stiffer than your average ATV or motobike. Maybe try shooting some dry lube or "Jigaloo" in there, could be some corrosion too.

It is an Argo. The governor has been removed. I will try some dry lube and keep you informed. Thanks for the response.
