Guys - I know this is backwards from "More Power!" but ...

I just went through my second Vanguard 18HP engine. The first one died from overuse. This one died from lack of use and carbon build up. Plus, when I rebuit it, the Briggs guys gave me the wrong rings ... But we can deal with that later.

The real issue is that I don't want to spend $1600 every few years or so. I also don't need to go fast anymore. So I'm thinking about this engine. You can even get the extended warranty.

What do you think?

I do not think that 13 would be enough, I would think if you are going through 18's you might try something in the 22hp plus
