I have an old Argo with a serial number that doesn't have any letters in front of the numbers. It has a 399 Kohler with a Walbro carb. It is missing the fuel filler neck. I have tried a 2 inch pvc but am having trouble getting it to fit on the gas cap end? Am I going about it the wrong way or do I need a different part? If it's a part where can I find one or what can I use instead? Thanks

The right size radiator hose works good. Ken.

Thanks for the reply. I bought one, but am thinking again. Doesn't it break down pretty quickly? There was one on it before and it filled the tank with crud and clogged the filter.

How about checking at your local auto wrecker, maybe some old filler hose available, maybe something off a truck tank. I wouldn't try PVC, don't think it's intended to stand up to petrolium products.
