Hi, i have an attex st/295 and i put a rotax 340 twin out of a ski doo tnt but the belt i have is too wide for the clutch on my transmission i measured the belt and it is 1 1/4" wide and the trans clutch is only about 5/8" wide is there a problem with my trans clutch or do i need a special narrower belt. Thanks

Tom,
Where are you measuring the width of the trans (secondary) clutch ? Out at the rim or down near the shaft ?

Ok so i used a regular snowmobile belt that was the length i needed and used my bench grinder to sand down the edges till the belt fit in the clutch level with the top. Its not the best way i know but it will work for now.
