Hi everybody !I have a late 70's Argo that i have rebuilt from the ground up with a 20 HP Honda engine.Can anybody tell me what clutchs i should use for the engine and transmission and also what rpm should the drive clutch engage at.Also are there any throttle control problems with the Honda?Thanks for the help,(Great site)

Hi Robert. I too am about to install 18 briggs. The argo dealer in Sudbury Ontario said that i would have to change the two clutches.The RPM. is the same on bought motors. All that i have to look for is longer belt.I did narrow up a belt two years ago it is still going strong.Did you revise the base and the hood for the new motor..Ken.

Hi Kenneth,Yes i'am going to have to redo the motor base.I measured the tranny and engine together and it is to long to fit under the hood so i will have to raise the engine and or slide the the base plate back.(Lots of head scratching)
