Hello everyone,
I jsut purchased what I thought was a good deal . A 1970ish MaxII. It has a JLO Rockwell 440 in it (with one completely dead cylinder) and the engine is missing a bunch of parts (I have come to find). Three of the 6 axles are bent, most of the bearing surfaces are screwed up on the axles and the sprockets are mostly noodled out. In my haste I purchased a tremendous money pit I believe.
That all aside I have a bunch of questions:
Dos anyone have any 440 parts or parts engines?
Does anyone have any used hollow axles? (this was supposed to have had updated axles on it however they are not solid...great!)
All of the hardware has been changed or modified by the previous owner and most of the original spacers have been replaced by stacks of washers etc. Wee haw! I really could use a good boost of friendship from anyone that has parts for these and would consider letting parts go reasonably.
ANy help and input would be appreciated.
