Hi,
I know this is a simple question but I sure would like to know where to start. I have a 2003 ARGO BIGFOOT, 18HP B&S and yesterday, way back in the bush there was a faint 'click' when I turned the ignition key on and nothing else. The battery and voltage are fine. It 'clicked' 2 or 3 times then started no problem without doing anything funky to it. Could this be the ignition switch (which looks worn), the starter relay, the starter itself or something else? How would I tell which one?
Any help appreciated: Thanks.

Mike.

Hey Michael, it could be the ignition switch but it would be a pretty safe bet that you have a loose or dirty ground somewhere. Check the neg. battery post first and the engine to frame ground strap. Good luck. W. Philip
