Looking for a better deal than dealer for argo bearings which 54 and 46 bucks a piece and need 12 and 8 of them. At this price, its about a grand to replace what's there, and am looking for people who have bought them at other places and what you paid for them with shipping or whatever. Thanks

Kyle This question is not as easy as it sounds, Dealers buy bearings from Argo distributors. Many places for markup. Check with the Argo dealers on this sight, All bearings are not equal either, many are poor quality. I finally bought bearings from Richard, provider of this site. I think they were 21$ but it has been a while, check with him. Also check with your local bearings supplier, as there would be no shipping. 54$ sounds steep but do not blame your dealer. Argo parts are high. As an Argo owner the new Argo company does not care much about old customers. I did once try cheap-o bearings from the Farm store, they lasted about three hours, fell apart. Then I had to do all the work again, and buy good ones anyway. I learned the hard way. Jeff Bar

I used triple 0-ring sealed bearing from two sources. Outer bearings around $12.00 each from Dalton bearing.

Inner bearings from Fred Sain's Argo around $11.00 each.

Thanks for the help. Since I'm in AK, do these places (Dalton bearing/Fred Sain's Argo) ship parts as well?

yes, I'm in Illinois and had them shipped. Dalton had a minimum order of $75.

You could also check with Richard and see what he has in stock. He may be comparable and able to put together the complete order and save you some on shipping.
