Hello, just joined this fourm. I just got 2 old ATTEX's not sure of years or models. Previous owner knew very little about them. THe main one I am working on has 2 steering sticks, a JLO motor and a Power Transmission with foward and reverse. I just got this ATTEX running but it will not move like it should. It rolls pretty easily but under power only two of the left wheels spin.It will barely turn right but thats it for steering. Where do I start????? Any help would greatly be appericated.

Welcome and we all hope you enjoy your machines.
There are lots of people on this board who know these older ATTEX'S well. The Power trans dates the machine to 1969, can be made to use and enjoy. These 69 machines used a series of brake pucks to hold and release the disc brakes on either side of the trans, check these, must be clean nor wore out.
We do offer these pucks along with many other parts for you machine, just check out our parts website listed below.

Hey, Will;
The Baker-Hill transmissions are really simple and your most likely problem is misadjustment of the pucks. There's two jamb nuts and adjustment bolts on the rear of the calipers at the base of the discs and allen type screws that adjust the pucks. If I'm remembering right, the nuts are a 9/16" wrench and the allen is 3/16". The outboard adjusters are for the brake pucks and the inboard adjusters are the drive pucks. It takes a little getting used to in order to get them right. If the machine's been sitting for a long time, the calipers or adjusters may be siezed and need to be freed up and lubed before they'll adjust.
If you do need a new set of the drive/brake pucks, Richard is the best person to get them from. I've tried others that were less expensive, but they were made out of cheaper material and didn't last.
