Hello i'm having trouble with the carb on my max iv it has a 18hp briggs vangard in it now what it is doing is it runs great till you hit a small bump then it just dies i have soked it like 3 times but unable to get the main jet out i'm going to have to take a easeyout to iti have ordered a new jet just waiting for it to come in just sounds like a pice of dirt is in it it is driving me nuts it the carb with the fuel shut off on it i have even unhooked it and bypassed it please help thanks

Mark Perhaps the needle and seat are either leaking or adjusted to close, maybe when you hit a pump the vibration causes the fuel to bypass the seat therefore flooding the engine. Maybe this will help. I had Kohler K341 in a Hustler which did this exact thing. Let us know what gives

well it has a new pump on it but after it stals out if i take the top of the carb off it sends a vac. bubble back to the pump like it has a blockage put the top back on it starts up fine i'm at a lost now i'm willing to try anything so thanks alot
