HI I was wondering if there is another carb I could put on my argo. It has a16hp tecumshen, with a walbro LMH-22A carb. It very hard to Start and once it starts it will not idle. Take it for a little run and it will idle fine. It also has a bog when you hit the throttle. I was thinking of changing the carb to see if that would help. Any suggestions. Also looking to replace the fuel pump. Any suggestion would help

A carb kit would be in order if you have not done this yet, check all you connections to the intake you have to take off the shielding to see the intake manifold, check your gaskets an air leak will cause this type of problem. Any after market pulse pump will work on your machine.

Ernie

Check the condition of valves, as in do a compression check, OH-160's were great engines when new, however today, 20-25 years later many are in poor condition, the engine was so solid that they will run when very worn. do not over look valve adjustments, engine should have around 140psi to run correctly. This may not be the problem, but you should check it too.
