I recently bought a machine that the t20 was rebuilt by Richard Clark with about 6hrs on it and come to find out he never replaced any of the bushings in the trans, this was supposed to be a total rebuild. He has pics of it as a 25hp conversion on his web. this is not a total rebuild if you leave old parts in it.

Not to get in the middle of anything here but just to help clarify : a rebuild is just replacing parts that require replacing.Remanufacturing is replacing parts that are known to wear out with out any examination, shafts bearings etc..It's like buying a alt . for your car from the auto parts store, rebuilt cheaper, remanufactured more.

fist off rebuilt parts are supposed to function properly. the trans will not stay in reverse, when running the left side stick ocislates back and forth , the faster the rpms the faster it ocislates. when changing the trans clutch the input shaft looks like someone ground the surface with an angle grinder. this is not the work of a professional. this was supposidly test driven by the mechanics of Richard Clark.if there was other parts that should have been replaced he should have told the customer before claiming it was fine. when my freind tried to contact Richard he would not return his calls or emails, after spending $2600 in repairs. There was also many other problems with the machine when it came back from Richard. I felt bad for my freind for having so many problems after spending so much money. and it did not help that Richard did nothing to help.

Just because some one is told, that when someone is selling an ATV, and the seller states that ROUTE6x6 rebuilt something, this does not mean that we did. Many people will say anything to make a machine sound better than it is.

This thread is a lie, we have never charged
2600$ for a T-20 rebuild, we answer
our phone 8-6pm EST. If someone has a problem
they are welcome to call us. No emails have
every been received from this person.

Futhermore all of our T-20 rebuilds leave the shop
in excellent condition, if someone does stupid things, like grind on parts, breaks shifters by forcing, we can not help that.

Also: If machine came in for a 25hp engine conversion, that conversion does not mean the whole machine was rebuilt, you can not do a total restoration along with a engine conversion, T-20 rebuild for 2600$ People bring us machines all the time for repairs, that does not mean that whole machine is rebuilt, only the items the customer wanted repaired, we repair many ATVs which need much more work than the customer want to do. Many people are on a budget and can only do certain things.

Richard do you remember Jason Kuschec from Grand Island NY? his machine is where I got the trans from. this is the same machine that you have on your web site that you claim to have done a 25hp conversion. When Jason brought you the machine it already had the conversion almost complete. He brought it to you because your were suposed to be an expert. He never had a chance to enjoy his max II because of all the problems after getting it back from you so he sold off the machine, thats were I got the trans .

Tom

We remember that machine a few years back.

Jason brought it to us with a used 25hp engine to be installed. engine had no ignition spark, exhaust and other engine trouble. We repaired the engine and did the full engine conversion, complete with heat shields, cold air intake kit, clutch and other related parts. Also installed a new upper body and tank.

Jason had already installed his frame, jackshafts, axles, bushings, bearings, flanges sprockets, chain, chain adjusters, ect. We were instructed not to touch those items. Flat tires and all.

We did repair his trans, if there is a problem with the trans, please send it to us and we will correct it at no charge.

Thanks
Richard Clark
