Is it possible to grease the inner bearings on a Max IV without moving the sprockets to the side? I am not able to get on the fitting with my grease gun.

Eddie, All of the inner bearing grease fittings on my 2003 Max iv are reachable. What year is yours and what axle are you having trouble with? W.Philip

Eddie, you can buy a low profile 90 degree fitting from NAPA, Part # 700-2020.

its is a 2000. I just got this great condition Max IV with ROPS and 26" tires 18 briggs for $2000. I had it shipped to me. Got it home. The tranmission was messed up. After buying 4 brake bands, replacing one brake drum, replacing the throttle cable, 4 bearings, four sprockets, replacing the plywood in the seat backs, sandblasting and painting the wheels. Im about to get it going. I guess if noone else has tried it I will let you know how the Krylon Fusion paint holds up. Being a military jeep collector I just had to camo it. If it holds up it looks also. Thanks For the info on the NAPA part sounds like just what I need.
