Hey folks, my Max II seems to be running hot. The exhaust system gets real hot real fast even just from idling on startup. After 15 minutes of cruising around real easy, its so hot it could almost melt the plastic shell above. What's up with that? I was having problems with a sticky float/needle - now fixed - and thought maybe it was burning up the extra gas from flooding. But weeks later, its still running hot. Any thoughts? thanks. Zip

Some thoughts would be to check the air to fuel ratio you may be running lean which will cause the engine to run hotter. You may have a valve sticking or out of adjustment.
