Hi Wes, the standard 21" Rawhide tire does work real well and it's the best tire for water speed on the Max II. Most people do upgrade to the Rawhide III. It is much more aggressive and is best for mud.
I do happen to know a dealer whose prices posted on his website is $8173 for that vehicle.... Read my user name. I recommend that you buy from a local dealer and I'm sure there is one within driving distance of you. Buying local ensures you have someone to go to for service in the future and keeps your local dealer in business. I hope this topic doens't turn in to a nasty bloody free for all.

Thanks alot brandon. Was the price listed above with the roll bar and winch? I am in the middle of argo country i live in marmaduke ar and there is a argo dealer 12 miles from me. Most of the max dealers are 4 to 5 hours away but there is a briggs and straton service center close to me. I have been checking out your site a lot bunch of nice pictures.

I think Brandon is giving you good advice on the tires. Have you driven one?

Oh and I checked and you are just over two hours from where I live. You must be close to Fred Sain. He is a very good Argo dealer.

I have not drove a max or ever seen one in person. Where are you located in Illinois?
I think i might upgrade the tires but i have been looking at the track kit for sale in the classifieds so that would kill that plan.

I'm in Carterville, which is between Carbondale and Marion. My website is jnatv.com I'd recommend that you take one for a test drive to see if you like it and it will meet your needs.

Hi, Jerry. I just took a look at your site, and you updated it w/ a video. That's pretty cool, thanks for doing that. There are a bunch of 6x6 sites that don't have enough video, and if they do, the clips are so short. We bought a Max IV 950T from Bud, back in November, but haven't been able to take it out . . . very busy at work, and need to be registered in CA. We will be registering it this weekend, and will definitely make good use of it in the coming months/years.

I went out and shot more video for the site today. I agree it helps people get an idea what they can do. Thanks.

Wes, it is definately worth the drive to demo a vehicle before you spend that much cash. Jerry is only two hours from you and could probably demo a vehicle, I don't know what he has on hand. I'm about five hours from you. The price I posted above is for the vehicle with shipping and accessories you described. I have a Max II 16hp with roll bar, 22" tires, and Package A in stock now for $7250. You are welcome to demo this machine on my trails, up and down hills, and take it swimming in the lake.
I don't think you need tracks. They are mostly good for deep snow. I think you will be really happy with the performance of the 22" tire in all terrains.
