Hello Everyone, I am a new user, and also a new aatv owner. I have an older attex, not sure of the year though, has drivers side exhaust exit... I have a question about the electrical, the previous owner was a butcher, nothing was hooked up, and now i have it that way. There are 2 yellow wires,(the lighting coil). there is a blue wire? a black wire? and a red wire that WAS labeled condenser, seems after removing flywheel, someone decided to move the condenser onto the coil, which is external, i am not sure though which wires need to be hooked up to run, and which kill the engine, i have the bridge rectifier figured out, whether or not it is good is a whole new subject... also, it kinda looks like the internal coils, might possibly be hitting the flywheel? is it ok to clearance these with a dremel? take a little off so they dont touch? its real close, and feels like it is binding, but will pull over and turn over with starter, well, i suppose thats a good start for the questions, thanks again for any help, i just want to get this thing running, so i can try it out. thanks again, MIKE D

sorry, I forgot to ask, If anyone has an electrical schematic for this engine, and could scan it, and email it, it would be a lifesaver, i have all sorts of stuff on the attex, and even the engine, but nothing on the electrical colors, ect... how to hook it up? I'm stumped

I'm currently swapping my JLO (in my Roughrider) for a bigger Hirth. I'll scan a sketch of the JLO wiring as soon as I get a few minutes. It may be a tad different than the Attex, but if might help.
