I just snapped my accelerator cable right by the throttle on my handlebar on my 2002 Argo Response. I couldn't believe that it snapped in the first place since my machine is in mint condition and is still barely new. Has anyone else had this problem and is this something I need to be made aware of. I have asked the dealer to order me spare parts because I don't want this happening again when I am in the swamp moose hunting!

I have not had that problem on my Argo but I have had it happen many times on motorcycles. Causes ranged from fatigue, corrosion, lack of lubrication, and the end piece popping off. So it does happen. I think I had clutch cables break more than accelerator cables but they have both broken.
