Let me start by saying I dont mean to start a fight or anything. I also am not trying to affend anybody so please dont take it that way. This is just my point of veiw.
I keep reading about people saying "dont try to re-invent the wheel". I know they arent talking about the wheel specifically but if that never happened we would have round boulders hooked to are 6x6's. Lets see that float. The wheel has been re-invented from rock to wood, metal and to rubber. Then differant grades of rubber and differant tread etc. I say if you have an idea and the resorces to try it, go for it. It might fail and problably will but why not at least try. Who knows, someone hear could be on to something that could change the whole 6x6 into something that would make modern(or todays) 6x6 look like the horseless carriage(very out dated). Just my thoughts.

What would you like to see in the ultra 6x6? How much would you fork out for a low production USA made perfect 6x6? I have several concepts, but who would pay the premium?

your right Larry, that was rather rude of me.In my projects I have many custom parts but try to use standard parts where i can for replacement, cost purposes and duplication ,if proto type worked. Many times I was told ''why don't you just buy it''.I'm sure some folks knew what I was getting at without stating all the reasons

Dennise,
I am not saying anybody is rude and I am not really sure who was saying that. If it was you no problem. I have read it time to time in this board and figured it was more than one person. The only real reason I posted anything about it is because in a way it could stop people from being creative (modifications and inventions)about there machines. In a way it is a negative response and was just pointing it out.
Larry
