I've heard just about everything being used for lubricating the drive chains on a MAX, et. al., chain wax, chainsaw bar oil, grease of all kinds, etc. etc.. But I must ask a dumb question; has anyone thought of using regular parffin wax, the kind they use to use to seal canning jars with? If you melt it down and pour it over the chains with something to catch the excess it seems to me it might work. It's not as messy afterwards. Comments??? Thanks.
