There is a chain saw carrying device for quads in the 4x4 accesseries section of Cabelas. It doesn't look like it would be any big deal to make it work somewhere on your Max

same thing on the weed wacker. There are clamp on gun/fishing rod holders that should hold a weed wacker without much problem in the 4x4 accesseries section of the Cabelas catalog
