I have an attex chief 400 and it is not getting spark. THe wiring harness is worthless and i want to make my own new one but I dont know what the different wires on the motor are for. A wiring diagram would really help!! Could ANyone email me one or tell me where I could get one?

I have an original 1973 owners manual with the wiring diagram in it. I will try to scan it today and send it via E-mail. I'm not sure how much detail it has on the ignition system. No spark on both plugs or only one? If it is only one, it is probably a coil. If it is both , there may be a short on the shut-off wire. |

If this is a 2-stroke engine, just pull all of the connectors and it will get spark, I got a real good deal on my MaxIV because someone tried to wire in an automotive type switch which makes a connection to go hot versus a snowmobile type switch which makes a connection to kill |

By now everyone should know that richard has manuals
at only a small charge. I think some people are just too
cheap to buy one

Hopefully most people on this board have the mind set to help out people in need of information. I have a manual, I scanned the diagram and sent it to Brett. He has the information he needs and I will send him more if I have it. Why did you post such a smart %$^$&^%^& reply on this board to begin with. |
