I'm looking at buying the capacitive discharge ignition components from a Cuyuna 2Si 430 engine and adapting them to a 400 JLO motor. I hate ignition points. The biggest unknown is adapting the stuff under the flywheel.

Does anyone have any experience with such a modification?

Does anyone have the CDI parts they would like to sell?

http://members.aol.com/pullingtractor/ignition.htm this may work for you. i put this type ignition on my atv and it saved me 400 dollars.
