I have decided I need an aatv. I would like to find a project machine. I am auto mechanic by trade and enjoy the challenge of an overgrown jigsaw puzzle. From the little bit of research I have done I have found that not all aatv have reverse. I have about 25 acres of swampy timber that I need to have full access to, so reverse is a must. Can anyboby tell me which machines do not have reverse? I am looking for a machine the will be sturdy and dependable. What machines should I look for and what machines should I run from.

I finally had a chance to talk with Richard Clark on the phone today for the first time! I can also say he is a real good guy to talk to and deal with for just about any thing that has to do with amphibious ATV's.

You want to talk about some real good prices for parts, he has some excellent prices on just about every thing. I live up here in Motown, and we can buy or make just about any kind of mechancal parts imaginable for any thing, but his prices are just as good as what I can get things for here!

He is a straight shooter and tells it like it is, and I like that and relate to that mentality very well.

Basically he can take care of all my parts needs for my 2003/04 Max IV machine, and there was only one or two parts that he does not carry for it at the moment. And I beleive it was the solid spline axle shaft. No big deal, I already have a few of those on hand, which will last me for a while.
