Anyone know what kind of top speed I can expect from my 8x8 Conquest? I recently bought it new and have really only driven it with the 18 inch tracks(with ice cleats). It has the low gear ratio transmission. Full throttle puts me at about 12-14 mph going slightly downhill with the tracks on hardpacked snow. I am hoping that with out tracks I can hit at least 20 or so on flat ground. Anyone know for sure?

They will generally get up to about 25-28 KPH depending on what your on. YOu can get your machine doing that with tracks on if you are in the right conditions. Find a place with hard packed snow, but with about an inch of poweder on top, open er up and you will go faster. Let your engine warm up a lot and you can get up quickly.
