The Max tracks option is a bit pricey from the factory... the Tru-Trax option is a whole lot more good looking money wise. Does anyone out there have a set? How do they work? How do they last? Why are they so much cheaper? What is the difference between Max and these?

Hi,Chris I hope I can answer your question. I got a set of tru tracks,I have them on my buffalo (RI's Truck max). They are plastic cleats ,not rubber like a snow mobile. The only thing is they are not as wide as the max tracks 12vs15and I think the 3inches wider would help some on going straight but might hurt on turns. But if you are putting them on a max 2 that machine is alot lighter then the buffalo and faster .Going faster will help you float more staying out of the snow more. But dont try to get up to full speed really fast take your time or you will dig down instead. The tru tracks seem to be hold up well I used them for two seasons so far.
